The Shift: From Operator to Architect

The Freelance Trap.

By late 2022, I was consulting for various operations clients. The pattern was clear: they didn’t have a 'work' problem. They had a flow problem.

Data was manually shuffled between CRMs, spreadsheets, and emails—no automation, just busywork.

Discovering the Toolchain.

That’s when n8n and Python came back into focus. I realized I could treat their businesses like the pneumatic circuits I designed at Festo:

  • Valves → APIs
  • Air pressure → Data flow
  • Pipes → Workflows

Each business became a circuit board. Connect the right nodes, and the system runs itself.

The Conclusion.

I stopped being the 'operator' keeping lights on. Now I’m the architect designing the grid.

This is the foundation of the modern Fabalos Automation stack.
